Governor Northam recently launched a new statewide pre-registration program for the COVID-19 vaccine. To pre-register you can visit vaccinate.virginia.gov or call the new phone number, 877-VAX-IN-VA.

877-VAX-IN-VA (877-829-4682) will be open from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM 7 days a week and staffed by 750 live operators. These operators will be able to assist Virginians speaking English or Spanish, as well as provide a call back service for over 100 other languages. TTY service is also available to those who are deaf or hard of hearing. Finally, if you would prefer not to wait on hold if lines are busy, you may opt to have an operator call you back instead.

If you are a member of Phase 1a or 1 b, please reserve your spot in line today.

Phase 1a:

  • Healthcare Personnel

  • Residents of Long-Term Care Facilities

Phase 1b:

  • Frontline essential workers

  • People age 65+

  • People age 16-64 with an underlying medical condition

  • People living in correctional facilities, homeless shelters, and migrant labor camps

According to the Governor’s office, this new, centralized system allows you to easily pre-register for the free vaccine, confirm you are on the waitlist, and learn more about Virginia’s vaccination program. If you had already pre-registered through your local health district prior to the launch of this new system, there is no need to register again, nor will the migration to Virginia’s new system impact your status.

at these upcoming events!

JUNE 18-20, 2021 - Chickahominy Riverfront Park

3 Day Bike About is a small (300-400 cyclists) bicycle tour over a 3-day weekend, in or near a small town in Virginia, with tent camping in a local park (or for those who prefer more luxurious digs – local hotels), while supporting a local charity and the local economy.

3 Day Bike About provides riders, their family and friends a fun-filled 3-day weekend of cycling and sightseeing. Routes range from 15 – 100 miles, in a different direction with new places to visit each day. When not cycling, cyclists and non-cycling family members can participate in other activities, such as kayaking, hiking, and visiting historic sites, as well as shopping and dining.

The staff of 3 Day Bike About is seeking sponsors of all levels, both monetary and in-kind.  If you are interested in a sponsorship, or have any questions, please contact the

3 Day Bike About staff at Cynthia@3daybikeabout.com or Deana@3daybikeabout.com
