Volunteer Job Descriptions

Assistant Activity Coodinator- We at the Arc provide activities for our clients to grow, develop community, learn, and sometimes to simply get away from the daily struggles they face. These activities range from recreational activities, to fitness activities, to life skills education. Therefore, we are always in need of people to come help at these events.

Activity Instructors- Do you have a skill that you can teach that you think our clients could use? We need people willing to work with our clients and teach them important life skills such as basic finance, mathematics, fitness, nutrition, etc.

Grant Assistant- We are always seeking grants to fund the myriad of activities and services we provide to our clients in need. We need someone to help with research, grant request writing, and grant record-keeping.

Public Relations Coodinator- While we may be a non-profit, that doesn't mean we don't need to market ourselves like any business trying to raise funds. We need a marketing specialist who can get the word out about our organization and the services we provide. Both clients and donors alike will only seek us out if they know we exist, what we do, and how we do it. We need someone who can write articles, design flyers and brochures, and use the power of social networking to bring in donors and clients.
