Recreational Therapy

The Recreational Therapy Program encourages socialization with peers and volunteers, connectivity, and interpersonal skills through participation in leisure activities, such as dances, bowling, and the annual William & Mary Greek Life Carnival.

Our goals for this program are:

  • To foster participation in friendships and allow for social interaction and inclusion among those with developmental disabilities.

  • To encourage positive social relationships and allow for interaction among peers.

  • To provide opportunities for clients to participate in activities that may not otherwise be accessible to them, such as amusement park trips, movies, and other fun events.
