Arts and Culture

The Arc of Greater Williamsburg's Arts and Culture Program immerses clients in the history and culture of the Greater Williamsburg area. This Program provides hands-on experiences through professional art instruction and local museum activities, as well as theatrical performances, dance, choral, and musical events.

Our goals for this program are:

  • To enrich the lives of our clients, friends and families, and the community through various art forms, styles, and expressions.

  • To empower clients with artistic aspirations, giving them the resources to work toward and achieve their art-related goals.

  • To cultivate artistic talent and appreciation of art among those with disabilities.

  • To promote creativity, achievement, and self-esteem.

  • To educate the community on the abilities and talents of those with developmental disabilities.
